Just a few minutes walk to the Casasola / Isdabe beach, it has 5 wonderful swimming pools (one is scheduled to be heated during the winter) plus a large paddling pool for the younger children. There are colourful sub-tropical gardens and cascading fountains, a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, free parking and 24 hour monitored security, as well as free to use tennis, padel, soccer and basketball courts.
Two beach bar restaurants (chiringuitos), many other excellent restaurants, bars and a local ALDI supermarket are all within a short walking distance. Numerous excellent golf courses are also in the surrounding area, plus many family oriented activities including aqua, dolphin and safari parks, fabulous shopping centres and, between thirty minutes and three hours away, the beautiful "white villages" of Casares, Gaucin, Istan and Ronda, as well as the wonderful Andalusian cities of Seville, Cordoba and Granada. Gibraltar is only 45 minutes away too!

We were met at the airport by the lovely local taxi driver as organised by the owner Sylvia. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very cosy. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are amazing, especially the walk in shower. The beds and bedding are all lovely and obviously new. It really was home from home.
The complex is lovely with its fountains and many pools. We enjoyed a few days by the heated outdoor pool and were able to swim. There is a fantastic range of restaurants which you can easily walk to and we were spoiled for choice. We got a taxi from the nearby taxi rank quite cheaply to Puerto Banus one day which was a good day out. The local ALDI is not far away and this was adequate for our shopping needs. We also enjoyed a few local walks and found plenty to do.
We were provided with lovely pool towels and plenty of towels to use in the apartment too. Wifi was good and there are a range of TV channels in case you fancy watching TV. The owners are lovely and happy to provide information about the local area.

The standard of furnishings and facilities overall was very high making the apartment a real home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped, with no need to eat out when we preferred to stay in as everything we needed was on hand.
Peter and Sylvia were wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with a quick tour of the apartment and urbanisation. They were available during our stay (they also live at El Presidente) for any queries or advice, though were never intrusive. Any small problems we had were promptly dealt with.
The development is very well maintained with private gardens and landscaped public areas with fountains. The beachfront is just a short walk away. It is also handy for access to major road networks for visiting local areas of interest. There are supermarkets nearby. A good selection of restaurants is also within easy walking distance. This was a good base from which to explore the area - we had day trips to local resorts and a few longer excursions to Ronda, Cadiz, and Antequera.

.... and were able to make full use of the delightful private terrace and garden as well as the beautiful, open area around the pool which is only a stone’s throw away. Peter met us on arrival and was very welcoming and informative. Throughout our stay he couldn't have done more for us.
The apartment was spacious and well furnished throughout. The reversible air-con worked well to keep us warm on those chilly February mornings and evenings. The kitchen and bathroom were of a high standard and all super clean. We very much enjoyed cooking and eating our al fresco, Spanish-style lunches on the terrace before having a siesta in the sunshine on one of the high quality sun-loungers around the main pool.
El Presidente was a real find. The gardens were lush, beautifully landscaped and immaculately kept by the friendly staff working on site. It was an oasis of calm, complete with palm trees, and one to which we would like to return.

The El Presidente residence is a very nice one with elegant and well maintained common areas.
The apartment itself is in top condition and also well furnished. We particularly appreciated the garden which is very private even if very close to the main swimming pool. We didn't lack for anything, even a Nespresso machine was made available by Peter the owner. Another benefit is that the owners live in the residence a few blocks away, have been always available and helpful and are very knowledgeable about the apartment, the residence and the whole surroundings.
The location is great as well, as you can walk to the beach and are very close to an incredible number of golf courses, restaurants and two schools to learn Spanish.
